Our History

Kent Pizza Garden was originally started in 1972 by a local family. In 1984 Chuck & his father acquired Kent Pizza Garden and continued down the local, family owned path.

Chuck & his father use a handed down family recipe for their pizza sauce. The dough is made fresh every single morning, hand pressed and baked in the original stone ovens – still to this day! A one of a kind, delicious pizza you can’t find anywhere else locally!

In 1989 Chuck met his wonderful wife Mary Ann, who jumped right into the family business. Even their children at one point have worked at KPG, making this truly a family owned business.

Their entire family has a passion and love for delicious food and great drinks. For those reasons they decided to expanded the menu to be more than pizza and re-branded to KPG Kitchen & Bar.

Now offering gourmet cheeseburgers & sandwiches, artisanal salads and a variety of entrees ranging from streak frites to grilled salmon with mango salsa, they have something for everyone.

Even secret menu items for locals and social media followers. Like their famous deep dish cookie, handmade and served hot right out of the oven with ice cream, whipped cream & chocolate sauce!  (Highly recommend ordering one on your next visit! Delicious and a KPG fan favorite!)

Chuck & Mary Ann pride themselves on quality ingredients, supporting local farms and businesses as much as possible. They both strive to create a fun atmosphere for all their customers. Specials are released every Friday, follow KPG on social media to check them out! (You wont regret it!)

Live music is offered on weekends during the summer. An outdoor fit pit is lit during good weather, where you can roast your own s’mores and they can even accommodate dining for groups up to 30 people!
